Methodology

Our approach

01

Understand the Problem Space

We talk to your customers, your engineering team, and sometimes your competitors' customers. The most valuable output of this phase is often killing an assumption that's been blocking progress.

02

Audit & Assess

We review your current architecture, codebase, or product with the eyes of someone who has to maintain it long-term. We tell you honestly what's solid and what's a risk.

03

Define & Prioritize

We facilitate workshops to align your team on what to build — and critically, what not to build. Scope discipline and stakeholder alignment start here.

04

Deliver a Clear Plan

Every engagement ends with a clear, executable document: a roadmap, an architecture decision record, or a due diligence report — whatever your context requires.

FAQ

Common questions

How long is a typical advisory engagement?

A focused discovery sprint runs 2–4 weeks and ends with a concrete deliverable. An ongoing advisory retainer — monthly calls and async input on decisions — is also available for teams that want a trusted technical partner without a full project.

What's the output of an architecture review?

A written report covering current state, identified risks, specific recommendations, and a prioritized remediation plan. Clear enough for your engineering team to act on, high-level enough for your board to understand.

Do you do technical due diligence for investors?

Yes. We review codebases, infrastructure, team structure, and technical debt profiles for investors and acquirers. We deliver a clear risk/strength assessment with specific findings rather than a generic scorecard.

Can you advise without doing the implementation?

Absolutely. We often act as an independent technical partner for teams that have strong internal engineering resources but want an outside perspective on strategic decisions.
