We build software products that ship — and keep working.
inviqon is a software product studio based in Düsseldorf, Germany. We work with B2B startups and scale-ups across DACH and Europe to build web apps, mobile apps, and digital platforms that make a measurable difference to their business.
The studio
inviqon was founded in Düsseldorf with a simple premise: most software projects fail not because developers lack skill, but because no one owns the outcome. Agencies hand off and move on. Freelancers are spread across three clients at once. In-house teams get distracted by company politics.
We built inviqon to be the studio we'd want to hire. Small enough to care about every project. Senior enough to make the hard calls. Process-driven enough to deliver on time. And technically deep enough that "it can't be done" is rarely the final answer.
We work with a small number of clients at any given time. This is intentional. It means you get senior attention, not a junior team supervised from a distance.
What we believe
Craft over velocity
We move fast — but we never ship something we'd be embarrassed to maintain. Code quality and product quality are the same thing to us.
Honest over comfortable
If your idea has a problem, we'll tell you. If your timeline isn't realistic, we'll say so. Clients don't pay us to agree with them.
Outcomes over outputs
Features shipped is not a success metric. User activation, retention, and business outcomes are what we measure ourselves against.
Depth over breadth
We only take on software product work. No marketing sites, no social campaigns. This focus means we're genuinely senior at what we do.
Our technology philosophy
We choose technology based on what fits the problem — not what's trendy or what we're most comfortable with. Here's how we think about each layer of the stack.
Next.js and React are our defaults because they're the right defaults for most product work. TypeScript everywhere — the type safety overhead pays for itself in the first production bug it prevents.
We're pragmatic about backend choices. Node.js for most API work, Supabase for rapid development, PostgreSQL for anything that needs to be queryable and reliable. We avoid over-engineering.
React Native first for cross-platform economics. Native Swift or Kotlin when performance genuinely demands it — not as a default or a signal of seriousness.
Infrastructure as Code from the start. Vercel for Next.js, AWS for anything that needs more control. We avoid vendor lock-in patterns that handcuff clients.
Düsseldorf, Germany
We're based in Düsseldorf and work with clients across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, and the Netherlands. Remote by default, in-person when it matters.
